The Sony NEX-FS700 RAW Camera Kit is a 4K/2K promotional package featuring the Sony FS-700, Sony 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 power zoom lens, Sony AXS-R5 RAW recorder, interface unit for the recorder, 512GB 4K/2K AXS memory card, USB 3.0 AXS card reader, Sony Olivine 7.5Ah battery, dual battery charging station, basic Chrosziel shoulder mount rig, and a compartmentalized hard carrying case. The FS-700 also includes its standard shotgun microphone, viewfinder tube, large eyecup, L-Series battery, adapter/charger, and remote commander. The viewfinder tube attaches to the camera's 3.5" LCD. (The camera, its standard accessories, and the lens are part of the original NEXFS700RH bundle.)
The FS-700 features a 4K Super 35mm CMOS image sensor. It records 4K, 12-bit RAW at up to 60fps and 2K, 12-bit RAW at up to 240fps to the AXS recorder. The recorder writes on the included AXS memory card without any buffering. High frame rate RAW is recorded at full resolution without windowing the image sensor. 1080p can be recorded internally to an optional SD card or Memory Stick Pro in up to 60p. You can simultaneously record 4K/2K RAW externally and 1080p AVCHD internally. The AXS recorder interconnects with the camera via the interface unit. Non-RAW can also be recorded to an optional HXR-FMU128 recorder.
In burst mode, the camera records 4K RAW at 120fps for 3.75 seconds, which translates to 17 seconds of 24p playback; 1080p at up to 240fps for 8 seconds; and lower resolutions at up to 960fps for 19 seconds for super slow motion recording.
Other significant features include S-Log2, 800% ITU709 gamma curves, Cinegamma modes that allow "baked in camera" looks, and three built-in ND filters (2/4/6 stops).
